　　内容和规模：Nylon plastics are mainly applied in the automobile industry and electronic & electrical industry. With the acceleration of automobile miniaturization and lightweight, the demand for nylon will become larger. As a structural material, it requires much for the strength, heat resistance, cold resistance and other relevant properties of nylon. Inherent defects of nylon are also the key factors that restrict its application, especially for PA6 and PA66, two major varieties. Compared with PA46 and PAl2, although PA6 and PA66 own a strong price advantage, some of their properties cannot meet the development requirements of related industries. Therefore, some properties must be improved by a modification to expand its application field.

　　In 2015, about 2,600,000t plastic nylon was consumed around the world, most of which were modified nylon, mainly applied in some industries as the automobile industry and mechanical industry. At present, China’s consumption of engineering nylon is about 420,000t, including about 250,000t (most of it is modified nylon) consumed in the automotive field. China’s automotive field is predicted to demand nearly 400,000t modified nylon in 2020, at an annual growth rate of around 10%. With the formation of three major automobile industrial clusters in Fujian, the industrial chain will keep extending constantly in the future and demand for the special materials used to produce automotive PA6 will also increase further. The New Materials Industrial Park of Lianjiang Kemen Economic Development Zone will build a PA integrated project to provide raw materials for the special automotive PA6 in the future.
